Head of Finance
Qualified finance leader to take ownership of reporting, forecasting and commercial decision support for a growing professional services firm.
A confidential appointment for a firm approaching the point where finance needs a genuine leader rather than a reporting function. The role reports to the Managing Director and covers statutory reporting, management information, forecasting and the commercial modelling behind the firm's growth plan.
Responsibilities
- Own month-end close, management accounts and board reporting.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow planning.
- Provide commercial analysis on pricing, utilisation and profitability.
- Manage the annual audit and all statutory and tax compliance.
- Build and develop a small finance team.
What we are looking for
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with post-qualification experience.
- Experience of management reporting in a professional services or fee-earning environment.
- Strong modelling skills and confidence presenting to a board.
- Track record of improving financial process and controls.
