Senior Software Engineer
Senior engineer to lead delivery on a TypeScript product platform used by enterprise customers across the UK and Europe.
Our client is a established B2B SaaS business scaling its engineering function after a strong growth year. The team is small, senior and product-led, and this appointment will take ownership of a core area of the platform end to end — from technical design through to release and operation. Two days a week in the London office.
Responsibilities
- Own the design and delivery of significant features across the product platform.
- Work directly with product and design to shape scope and technical approach.
- Raise engineering standards through code review, testing and documentation.
- Mentor mid-level engineers and support their technical development.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and platform reliability work.
What we are looking for
- Five or more years of commercial software engineering experience.
- Strong TypeScript and modern React, with solid backend exposure (Node.js or similar).
- Experience designing and shipping features in a production SaaS environment.
- Comfortable with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and observability practices.
- Right to work in the UK.
